The Red Tulip Festival

The organization of the Red Tulip Film Festival consists of a team of enthusiastic volunteers. The Red Tulip Film Festival is the platform for Turkish film to exchange knowledge and achieve synergy; where in Turkish and Dutch (students, amateurs and professional) filmmakers, film experts, cooperation partners, as well as young and old audiences come together.

No day is the same as the other day you spend as a volunteer at RTFF! The program is extremely flexible and versatile and tailored to the needs of both the Dutch and Turkish audiences. In our festival that we organize every year, our volunteers have the opportunity to put their own signatures on our program by putting forward their own thoughts and ideas and making them come alive!.

The 9th edition will take place from May 26th to June 04th, 2023. The Red Tulip Film Festival takes place every year in five major cities of the Netherlands in various film houses for world cinema enthusiasts: namely Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, Schiedam, Maastricht.

The Red Tulip Film Festival is a metropolitan and international film festival for a diverse audience that is challenged to step out of their own comfort zone, to gain knowledge and insight into Turkish film culture.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM US?

You will work in a very dynamic, ambitious and internationally oriented working environment focused on growth, with offices in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. You will have the opportunity to gain a lot of experience and to give your own interpretation to / unleash expertise on making our festival visible.

Because the festival cannot run without the support of the many volunteers, we do our utmost to make it as pleasant as possible for you. Watching movies is therefore free for the volunteers! In addition, you can participate in the meetings with the film stars and we reimburse any expenses based on declarations.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT OF YOU?

As a volunteer you are the calling card and often the first point of contact for the public. That is why you must have a good command of the Dutch language and preferably Turkish and appear representative of “The Red Tulip Film Festival”..

Prior to the festival, you will be involved in various types of promotional activities under the supervision of team coordinators and possible spot meetings.
We expect you to be available for 2 to 4 hours per week from 26 May 2023 and between 04 June 2023 at least 16 hours during the festival.

Availability in the preparations of the festival is an advantage..!!!
